Mission - Heroes Healing Heroes ©
The American Heroes Motorcycle Association, founded by Bubba and The Counselor to bring together service members from various disciplines but with overall similar background. Bubba is a Desert Storm Veteran. The Counselor has over 20 years between healthcare, public safety and EMS.
As veterans, we donned our uniform to protect, serve and keep our country safe, usually on foreign soil while our first responders kept our families safe by patrolling the streets, providing fire and medical services in our community. "We" who continue to dedicate our life to helping others, serving others, promoting brother and sisterhood, healing and family share the same troubles and desires.
We all experience similar issues and feel that we are stronger under 1 patch. There is a lot of focus on 'awareness' well, we want to 'do', there is plenty of awareness of veteran and first responder suicide - it is time to act. Our goal is to bring people together, provide resources and training to help each other. There is a wealth of resources for managing PTSD and other service-related issues however, we feel that the first line of defense that stands between us and PTSD lies with us. It's time that "We" stand in unity under one patch.
